# Harshkit

> Harshkit makes free, open-source apps that run entirely on your device: no cloud, no account, no subscription. Founded by Harsh Sharma. Every app is MIT-licensed and published on GitHub (https://github.com/harshkit).

## Apps

- [Kitflo](https://www.harshkit.com/apps/kitflo/) (formerly OpenFlo): Free, open-source, offline voice dictation and AI meeting notes for Mac. A free alternative to Wispr Flow (dictation) and Otter/Granola (meeting notes).
  - Hold a key (fn, Right Option or Right Command), speak, release: clean, punctuated text is pasted into any app. Removes filler words, applies self-corrections ("5, no wait, 6" → "6"), formats lists. About 0.6–1.0 s on an M2 Mac.
  - Meeting notes: records audio only, audio + screen, or audio + screen + camera, from the whole screen, one app (e.g. Zoom) or one window. Separates your mic from system audio, labels speakers (You, Speaker 1, 2…), reads on-screen text, and writes a summary, key points, action items and decisions. Pause/resume with paused parts cut from the video.
  - Runs 100% on-device: NVIDIA Parakeet or Apple SpeechAnalyzer for speech, Qwen2.5-1.5B via llama.cpp for cleanup and notes. No telemetry.
  - Requirements: macOS 26+, Apple silicon. Price: free (MIT).
  - Install: `curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/harshkit/kitflo/main/install.sh | bash`
